audiopreview software package provides command-line tool to play previews of audio and video files, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install audiopreview
audiopreview is installed in your system.
Make ensure the audiopreview package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep audiopreview *
You will get with audiopreview package name, version, architecture and description in a table
